Angel Bridge (TMNT 2012 Character Fashion Concept)
Unlike the 2003 TMNT, my version of Angel is a fourteen year old wannabe scene queen who gets into very Jade-Jackie-Chan-Adventures type problems. She tomboyish, a gamer girl, and gets along best with Mikey.

- Black pants, black sweatshirt (with Angel wings ^-^)

-Violet top, thick belt and boots as homage to her 2003 cartoon.

- Her hair is still purple.

- She has a trusty pocketknife. (Which has helped her out on more than one occasion.)

Irma Langinstein (TMNT 2012 Character Fashion Concept)
I feel like if teen Irma shows up in the new series, she would have this whole Boho/Hippie style. I tried to stay with blue and purple (as homage to her original outfit.)

-Graphic shirts with ironic messages.

-A messenger bag (to hold all of her crap-ola.)

-Total Bunhead! Hair clips (Because her hair is always a mess. xD)

-A few gold accessories, bangles and sandals.

Head Canons: She's a journalist and on her school's newspaper, her dad is a weather man, she's short and read that long skirts helped you look taller and helps to hide heels, her hacking skills are top-notch and she desperately needs a coffee and Space Heroes intervention.

Hope you guys like it. ^-^

Nevermore - Kelly Creagh (Book Review)

Nevermore - Kelly Creagh (Book Review)
Cheerleader Isobel (another Bella?) becomes the reluctant partner of Goth Varen Nethers for an English assignment on Poe. Predictably, she falls hard for him, and he may not be a lost soul trapped between the real world and the dream world; psychologically abused by his father; or just a strange kid. There are so many dropped threads in the story that are just begging to be picked up in sequels that readers aren't really sure what has happened and what hasn't. The characters and story are interesting enough, however, to justify anticipation of further installments - Amazon Review

My Score: 4 out of 5 stars

My Nitpicks: A very good book, one I'll hopefully be picking up the sequels too soon. The first portion of the book is dedicated to setting up the plot, introducing characters, etc. Kelly Creagh herself said she was just going to create a typical "cheerleader falls in love with goth" book, before her characters decided to take it in another direction. The paranormal action really starts kicking in toward the end. Overall, I felt the book was quite lengthy(not in a good way), and it could have been easily shortened if the main heroine, Isobel, wasn't so secretive about everything. Varen's dream world and the characters are compelling enough to keep you hooked. Also, the ending will tear you to pieces. Not giving away anything, but it's not the typical happily ever after.

A delight for fans of: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
